SportsBot is a bot that retrieves sports from official sites of sports leagues, and formats the data for updating on MediaWiki wikis.

The following leagues are supported:

• AHL: American Hockey League (Standings)
• CCC: Football League Championship (Coca-Cola Championship)
• EPL: English Premier League
• MLB: Major League Baseball
• MLS: Major League Soccer
• NBA: National Basketball Association
• NFL: National Football League
• NHL: National Hockey League (Standings)
• SerieA: Serie A

Leagues that are already supported by StandingsBot that will soon be converted to use SportsBot:

• LFP: Liga de Fútbol Profesional
• SPL: Scottish Premier League

[edit] Installation

To install SportsBot from SVN, run the following command:

svn checkout http://code.zachhauri.com/svn/sportsbot sportsbot

Copy the directory tree to your $HOME directory.

I should note that the version of SportsBot that runs on this Wiki uses customized code for a different display style.
